The Kings used to not break after a goal or two against. That's a long time ago though.

Maybe, but the Kings have never had a very exciting powerplay, even during the 2012-14 years when they were much more successful and had better personnel. The team philosophy never allowed it. Obviously, Blake's sought after identity may call for a change, but those changes haven't been made yet.

I dont know how you lose that much of your game that quickly besides being completely unprepared physically and that's usually not his style. Love the guy but it would be the honorable smart thing to do unless he has some major turn around mid(short) season.

Brown would be okay if he had his minutes reduced and was put in a bottom 6 role permanently. He's just not a first liner anymore and is overutilized.

It's just the unfortunate circumstance of our beleaguered roster.

It’s really tough to see the players who were so good for this organization struggle this badly on the back nine of their careers. Brown looks like late stage Ryan Smyth out there.

People criticize Brown and Amadio, but I question TMac for putting them out in those situations. It seems pretty clear to everyone but him that they are just not very good.

Brown has been absolutely brutal. Every single play just dies on his stick. He should make himself useful and start throwing checks that will give him calls from the DoPS.

With the way he’s playing, he’s already called it quits. Only one more season to go after this one for his contract to run out.

I wouldn't have a problem with him if he was just put on the fourth line and left there. I don't know what he is showing TMac in practice that is convincing him to put him in the middle six and on special teams. Being on the second powerplay unit is just brutal.
