I'm seeing replies but not seeing the posts they are replying to. Maybe I'll just check this thread out in Incognito to see who my ignore list is saving me from.

Edit: Sigh

Give Landeskog 7X8mil and then move Kempe and the #8overall and a prospect(a.Thomas, Fagemo) for a #2 defenseman…

Landeskog-Kopitar-Brown
Iafallo-Byfield-Arvidsson
Moore-JAD-Vilardi
Tkachov/MacD/Wagner-Lizotte-Grundstrom

Kaliyev and Turcotte called up during season

Anderson-Doughty
Werenski-Roy
Bjornfot-Walker
Strand

Why would Columbus trade Werenski for that package when Jones is going to be dealt? They would want Turcotte or Byfield in addition to other assets and rightfully so.

Good Lord!?! You're either off your meds, trolling or simply not very good at this.
You don't like Landeskog or Kubalik? They are top flight wingers and on the Kings it would be a welcome additions after having to endure the likes of Yafallo and Brown all these years, good god man!

Talk about lowballing your captain. 8x5 for a ppg guy with about 2-3 years left in his prime. I would be very comfortable offering 7-7.5m for 6-7 years. RNH basically got the same contract for less production.

Either A) shift Vilardi to the wing and make Landeskog the 2C, or B) make a top unit of Landeskog-Kopitar-Arvidsson

7M for 7 years for a 29 year old winger?

That's the exact type of contract that gets teams in trouble. Any team that signs him for that will regret it.

Definite troll job, Landeskog and Kubalik are nice wingers but 11mil per? Their names aren’t Panarin, Pastrnak, Kucherov or Kane. Hell I’d take Marner and his 11mil over Landeskog or Kubalik at the same price.

Danault is a 4.5 player max, good lord did this run overrate him.

Danault is getting 5.5-6 easily, maybe more like the Hayes contract. He IS that good, and has been for a couple of years, this run just got him the extra exposure.

Maybe it's not worth it for the Kings who have trouble scoring, but I'm sure there are teams that have fewer scoring issues and need D...he's a Selke level C.

I thought it would be a creative solution for the Kings to make Danault the 'stopper' C and let Kopitar finally go HAM on offense but in all likelihood it's easier to sign someone like Stastny to bridge.

It absolutely did, the guy is a shutdown 3C but then it becomes…
What is he worth to the Kings to be able to come in and alleviate Kopi of some of those hard minutes

Thougth I think it's debateable what a top-flight 2-3C is worth. I really don't think 5-6 is that exorbitant looking around the league.

It looks like Colorado’s initial offer to Landeskog valued him at around $28M over 4 years. That’s my guess as to how they got to $41M over 8 years today, as rumored. It’s a pretty big step up from where Sakic started at the end of the 19/20 season, so less than a year ago.

Is Landeskog a guy who is worth more than $41M? His agent must think he can find a GM who thinks that way on the open market. I think Sakic would be smart to make his best and final offer ASAP and walk away if that’s rejected.

so they start at 7mm for 4 and it went down to 5.125 for term.
I could see some other team offering more or maybe even offering Trevor Moore

but seriously, I think between the flat cap and teams seeing what the Parise and Suter contracts did to the Wild (and the damage that is going to be done to the Wild when they retire) I think the second offer is going to be about the best Landy gets from a contender.

Pretty much, you still have to take care of your superstar core.. either way, I don’t see the Avs winning a cup with how they built their team. They need more size and physicality on the blue line and they lack depth on the bottom 6

Lombardi was really good (and lucky) at finding talented players on a temporary downswing with diminished value. Williams, Mitchell, Gaborik, even Carter. All players who had historically low value at the time Dean traded for/signed them.

Blake is going to need to hit on a player like that to accelerate the rebuild.

Arvidsson is his first swing at this

There isn't even a 1% chance that the Kings get either of these guys. That's probably the point people may be trying to make. Might as well play the lotto. Better chance of winning that.

Those guys would wipe their asses with a contract offer from the Kings.
