My issue with Hoven isn't the guy himself. I follow him and will read certain articles. I appreciate someone covering the Kings that does have some connections and is able to get interviews with players etc.
The bolded, however, is my issue. While there is a faction that dismisses everything he says, there is a faction which you fall under that believes everything he says. He is far too often wrong about the big things--like trades and signings--to use him as the basis of an argument pertaining to these things. A huge part of your anti-Eichel trade stance is "Hoven said it isn't happening". Cool. That means jack shit. Now, if you want to talk injuries or call-ups from Ontario, go right ahead and use Hoven as a source but he's under the Mendoza line with no homeruns when it comes to big ticket moves.
