An overlooked detail of the Kings dominance in that 3 year span was the fact that they would win just about every freaking board battle. Byfield, Turcotte and Vilardi are going to kill it in that regard for the next 10 years.

Shhhhhh they're three worthless scrubs and are huge busts. LOL. Loving the future for reals.

That GWG shift was the best I've ever seen Turcotte look, that was incredibly impressive. Props to Arty for the snipe, but holy crap did Turcotte put the work in to make that happen

You expect a goal anytime you see Kaliyev open and the puck heading his way in a scoring area. There are issues with his game but he just picks up points at every level.

You expect a goal anytime you see Kaliyev open and the puck heading his way in a scoring area. There are issues with his game but he just picks up points at every level.

He'll need the right centerman and need to be used by the coach correctly but you just give him a sniff and he puts it on net.

Thankfully we've got 3 of the best up and coming centers who all play differently so there are a lot of options to find a fit for him.

That shift reminded me a ton of Richards during his 2010 playoff run. Nonstop pursuit for the puck. Scoring greasy goals. Hardest working player shift after shift. Battling hard on the boards. Kid was on another level tonight
