Zegras with typically loose play in his own zone, turns the puck over, misses three checks.

That shift pissed me off because I know people will dump on Turcotte while Zegras spent 30 seconds checking air and covering no one after a feeble turnover.

It's going to sound like sour grapes because he's having a great tournament but watch that last shift. He's pretty clueless without the puck, and gets erased once the checking picks up. For all the grief Kaliyev gets for his play without the puck, Zegras just looks better doing nothing. He's big brain so I know he'll start to figure it out and make an impact at the NHL level but I don't think he ever sticks as a C unless he puts on some beef.
