Next two games is not going to be easy for the U.S. seeing how the Czechs was stellar against the Russians. We can possibly lose our next 2 games. Crazy what can happen, why you can never get too comfortable.

And they all looked bad yesterday in failing to generate much offense, so they must project into some bad NHLers in the future.

For a good chunk of the fanbase this is the first live opportunity to watch the Kings most hyped prospect since Doughty so it shouldn't be shocking that people were expecting to see a little bit more from him. The tourney is still early and he should hopefully get plenty of opportunity to shine, but the beginning hasn't been great. I don't think most people are calling him a bust, they are just a bit let down by the performance so far and this is also compounded by Stutzle looking fantastic.

I personally think that the 15 extra pounds he gained is weighing him down(no pun intended), he definitely looks gassed towards the ends of shifts and in the latter part of games. Hopefully he can get up to speed because it would be a lot of fun to have a Kings prospect dominate the WJC(although, Fagemo somewhat did last year).

Austria vs. Sweden is unwatchable my goodness. Swedes literally skating circles over and over again around the Austrians. Gotta give credit to the Austrian goalie for standing in there for the pounding.

2-0 Sweden, outshooting Austria 27-1.

Bjornfot is looking good at least, no points but looks very comfortable in the offensive zone. But I know, gotta take into account the competition as well, the Austrians are likely exhausted right now and still have half the game to go.

It looks like he was preparing for a collision that happened differently, and he went into the boards awkwardly.

Man he looked like he was knocked out a bit there. Not good sheesh. Hate seeing players go down even if they're not our prospects. Man that bites and now Dach is out 4-5 months too.
