Good showing by Faber, Turcotte, and Bjornfot today. Nice to have 3 future hall of famers as of tonight.
In my defense, my statements knocking him were before he was drafted.
Though it's pretty obnoxious how much they were drooling over him. Caufield had a quiet night so they stopped obsessing over him.
Take it you didn't see Bjornfot today?Faber has been the best Kings prospect in these games so far, and it's not close
Take it you didn't see Bjornfot today?
Turcotte deserves some love tonight. Really improved his faceoff total from last night and driving hard all night long and probably could've had 5 points in the first period alone if not for the Austrian goalie.
Agreed. Turcotte looked real good! Couple of posts, couple of nice passes that weren't converted. Really solid game for him.
Ahh the joys of WJC season...outlandish hot takes because my prospects didn’t drop 4 goals against a hapless team.
Almost as good as opposing teams building up there prospects by breaking down others. Over 50% of negative Byfield comments come from Ottawa fans, coincidence?
They are doing the same thing in the US thread to defend Sanderson.
Too early to start the Faber-McAvoy comparisons?
If I were to rank performances today, I'd rank it as:
Faber
Turcotte
Bjornfot
Byfield
Parik
Bjornfot played very well. He also had tougher competition against Czech Republic.
Biggest issue with Bjornfot/Sweden in general was the pushback in the first from Czechs.
I'm sure as Sweden faces Austria and USA faces Czech Republic, it will be a better performance from Bjornfot.
Simontaival has been showing great anticipation this game. Without the puck, he seems to know where to go so he can retrieve it.
Byfield gets sent off the ice from the faceoff circle.....for not wearing a mouthpiece? kids I tell ya.
