thank god we dont have prospects in the ohl right now, the minister of sport just killed that league.
So what's the deal with this? No contact. Okay. But are they going to mandate masks on the ice? Cause if not, what's the point here? There's load of instances in the sport where you're close up with another guy in hockey. How is contact supposed to take away the danger of infection?

are the players also going to be 6 feet apart on the bench? No dressing room access?

When you take a face off, there is 2 players face to face breathing on each other. It makes no sense to cut body contact. If it’s too high risk for spreading for body contact, it’s too high of a risk to come back and play at all

So dumb.. to disallow body checking , but allow play. There are so many instances of very close proximity in hockey. Even something as simple as a face off. He will allow hockey but there will be no face offs .. We will allow hockey with no board battles . We will allow hockey with no covering your man in front of the net... Lisa McCloud has her ignorance on full display here. Its like a covid droplet in a bucket full of corona virus.

Games are going to just be a full team shoot out, and you have to shoot it at least 2 meters from the goal

Eric Engstrand listed as a substitute for Malmo's game today, so i assume he is not dressed today.

Brannstrom with 4 pts in 5 games as well in the Swiss league.

Erik Brannstrom will be out of action for at least a week due to a positive COVID case within the organization. The SCL Tigers have postponed tonight's game and will be in quarantine until at least November 7th.

Last prospect of the day is Maxence Guenette of Val D'or who gets an assist after 29 seconds of the first.

1-0 after 0ne

2-2 after 2
3-3 after 3
OT
pens

Val D'or win 4-3, a assist was added to the tieing goal for Guenette so he had 2a in the game

oh yea, but he did take him earlier than expected.
Which is kinda funny cause it feels like history repeating itself in 2 straight drafts with Pinto and Jarventie then the trades for Klevin and Sogaard. Somewhat off the board in those early 2nd round picks then weird trades to draft off the board guys in the mid 2nd. Pinto and Jarventie look great, Klevin and Sogaard maybe not so much (fully recognize its too early to judge and Klevin hasn't even played yet).

Man it would be sick for us to start hitting on some of these second rounders.

Formenton, Pinto, and Jarvente all look like they have a very good chance at being great players for us some point in the next few years. Might as well call JBD and Greig 2nd rounders and included them as well.

And while Chlapik, Kleven and Sokolov all look more like roleplayers for us rather than potential impact guys like the ones above, they all still have legit NHL upside, and a fairly solid chance to get there someday (and all could still have some untapped upside as well).

My god this team is silly deep right now. Its nearly impossible not to get excited when you see guys like Abramov and Balcers ripping it up over in Europe, but have become all but forgotten/lost in the mix here in Senators land. Stuetzle, Batherson, Norris are all inarguably ahead of them at the moment, and lots more coming soon/already in the mix with them at the moment.

Or how a guy like Logan Brown could explode (like were talkin supernova maybe), and basically go from being outside the Sens top 10 prospects in the eyes of many here, to leapfrogging everyone not named Tkachuk or Chabot over the course of next season. Give him Tkachuk and Daddy on his wings, and convince me that he wont do better than the rest of our centerment - please, Im waiting.

You can almost cut and paste that same thing for Brannstrom, who could be our most dynamic player on the blueline when our team is peaking. Drysdale would have been a completely redundant pick imo, we already have a carbon copy (or possibly better) version of him already in Branny. #truth

I put more stock in McKenzie's list more than in any other because it has NHL scouts input.

McKenzie had Jarventie 52th OA but had Kleven at 36th OA. He had Sokolov 83th

Sens initially had :

- 33th OA : Jar Jar Binks
- 52th OA : Traded with Gruden (former 4th round pick) to get double Stanley Cup champ Matt Murray
- 59th OA : Traded with a 3rd to Toronto to move up and grab Lucky Number Kleven
- 61st OA : Egor Malkin Sokolov

Jarventie, Murray, Kleven, Sokolov

Maybe some people don't see it now, but that could be a heck of a 2nd round

...Logan Brown... Give him Tkachuk and Daddy on his wings, and convince me that he wont do better than the rest of our centerment - please, Im waiting

No. I have Chris Tierney. We also signed Alex Galchenyuk

- DJ Smith.
