Hopefully he can bounce back and push for some NHL time. He looked so promising 2 years ago when he made the club out of tc.

He is part of the prospect story where Boucher (and Fans) would overlook massive developmental gaps in favour of a few pts in a box score. DJ corrected this error but Lajoie, Jaros, and White will live on as a generational poor/weak professional evaluations by a coach and fan base. White hit the jackpot with $26 million while the others have been pushed back into the developmental AHL engine. DJ insisted that Norris, Brown, Brann, Bath, Brown, Form etc take the tough love, correct path and those guys will probably pass Boucher’s kids this season.

Thompson and Jarvente just about to start for Ilves and Abramov for Jukerit.

Later Gustavsson versus Lodin. Also Brannstrom for SCL Tigers

Ilves up 2-1 after 6 mins

Abramov is tied for 2nd in Liiga in goals. He played 3 games

he plays for one of the worst teams in the league. Before he was in the line up, they were 0-4 and had scored 6 goals in the 4 games. Since he arrived, they are 2-1 with 8 goals in 3 games. He got 5 of them.

HE PUT THE TEAM ON HIS BACK

What a great experience that could be for Abramov to be the undisputed go to guy on a pro team. And the overall talent in the Liiga is actually higher than usual because of several great/good prospects joining the league during Covid.

Also, Jarventie's shooting ability looks beautiful

One thing that won't be seen in highlights is that Järventie is also very solid defensively. The kind of player you'll eventually put on the ice in every situation.

That’s good to hear. Everything i’ve read so far has been the natural scoring instincts, shot, plus skating, but everything else needs a lot of work. Maybe he’s not as raw as he is described sometimes.
