Lol... Pronmans rankings of our U22 (as of Sept 15) talent:

1. Brady Tkachuk, LW
2. Tim Stutzle, LW
3. Josh Norris, C
4. Alex Formenton, LW
5. Drake Batherson, RW
6. Jake Sanderson, D
7. Erik Brannstrom, D
8. Ridly Greig, C
9. Logan Brown, C
10. Shane Pinto, C
11. Jacob Bernard-Docker, D
12. Egor Sokolov, LW
13. Roby Jarventie, LW
14. Lassi Thomson, D

Such a weird list...

Formenton ahead of Batherson and both agead of Sanderson?

Sokolov ahead of Jarventie seems odd to me along with either of them ahead of Thomson.

Not sure if he is high on Grieg or low on the guys around him...

Jarventie seems like a really good player, Ottawa may have found a gem here & if Sokolov can have a decent season that would be two more good solid wingers for this team. Tkachuk first overall is really the only thing I can agree with that list.

Very, very, very strange list, but only his personal rankings.

He's always had some odd takes and been very high and low on certain player types

I do agree with the Thomson ranking, he'd be somewhere around 15 or lower for me as well.

You do not agree with Stutzle at #2?

Hopefully he can bounce back and push for some NHL time. He looked so promising 2 years ago when he made the club out of tc.

To me Lajoie, Jaros, and White were 3 players that demonstrate the coaching philosophy and talent evaluation differences between Boucher and DJ. Boucher glossed over some weaknesses and pushed them into the league where DJ recognized the need for development and did what he could to develop the player.

Is it a “where are they now list” or a “potential” list? ... I feel elements of both.

Any update on Mark Kastelic? Does he start in the AHL this year? I was watching some highlights of him yesterday and he has great hands and scoring touch. Also a bit of nastiness to his game that would add to our lineup.

I think Pronman has shown a willingness to learn and I enjoy his pieces on who he got wrong. Appreciate that from someone who comes from the 'other side (e.g. more analytics minded)' of scouting

He's suppose to start in Belleville if or when the AHL gets started again. He's a guy I have penciled in as a 4th line centre or RW in future, I love the way he plays too.

Rudolfs Balcers on the first line for Stavengar in his first game for them 0-0 after 1 period.
Balcers picks up an assist, currently 2-2 in 2nd
and now he scores 3-3 end of 2
Stavenger lead 5-4 late in 3rd
Balcer's Stavengar win 5-4 1g 1a for Balcer.

Eric Engstrand's Malmo lead 2-1 in 2nd.

2-2 after 2

Malmo lose 4-3 NO stats for Engstrand.

I get my info from Flash score, which is getting the info right at gametime, so what i posted was the info as soon as the game finished but just checked and they have changed the assists on the the 5th which now gives the assist to Balcers, so SP is correct 1g 2a for Balcers.

What do you see as Thompson’s weaknesses that cause you to rate him that low?
