we are begging for Jack Campbell and Cory Schneider to come, and you want to throw his name out there lol...it would be great to see, but heard no news at all on him. Gibson did play less minutes this year than last, but he has played 60 games in back to back years, doubt he comes.

Was just going to ask if Gibson was hurt. But yah that’s a lot of games. Hoping Tampa and Pittsburgh get bounced muy pronto.

Jets would look like a great add with the names there, but so many are UFA/RFA - K. Hayes, Trouba, Connor, Copp - all UFA/RFA - Roslovic would be a real nice add though, that kid has some skill that would work well on this team.

Hellebuyck would be a no way if they lose...

Buff missed a lot of time hurt, he wouldn't come..and Wheeler likely would be a no as well...

Adam Lowry I believe could represent the US - but at that point, just go with the kids IMO.

Hellebuyck is very shaky. I think I might prefer Campbell as the starter, and definitely would prefer Gibson.

Tampa Bay on life support. Johnson, McDonagh, and Miller all have contracts and should be the targets if they don't pull off a miraculous comeback. Don't bother with Callahan or Erne (RFA).

I wouldn't be surprised to see them add another college defenseman. I wouldn't expect them to take more than 2 college defensemen at most as usually they only will have 1 college defenseman, but you never know. They essentially already have one (Quinn) on the roster and they're not shy about adding NCAA players. I'd think a guy like Adam Fox is more likely to be targeted though because he's a RHD and this team has few RHD options.

Penguins are on life support down 3-0 in their playoff series. Barring a miraculous comeback, there should be quite a few players coming available: Jake Guentzel, Phil Kessel, Brian Dumoulin, Nick Bjugstad, Zach Aston-Reese, Matt Cullen, Bryan Rust, Jack Johnson.

They should absolutely target the first 3 guys and say no thank you to the rest except maybe Rust if the declines are bad. Unless Guentzel is injured, I'm really hopeful he'll show up. He just signed a big contract and he's never represented Team USA, so you'd think he'd jump at the opportunity. I can't imagine Kessel showing up and no idea on Dumoulin.

Dumoulin is clearly hurting...ZAR is also banged up and wasn't even practicing with the team the days leading up to the playoffs...Cullen is old, you think he'd really want to play into May? Johnson on the international ice would be nightmare worthy.

I explicitly said they shouldn't target ZAR, Cullen, or Johnson, so not sure on your point here. I listed them because they'll technically be available.

Yep. I imagine Kane just confirmed he's playing and now USAH is circling the wagons with Eichel, Larkin, etc. in time for the first round of roster announcements.
