Fans, plural? The only one I can think of is My Special Purpose. And pretty much no one agreed with him then. And no offense to him, but he always seemed or seems to have a lower opinion Pesce than most.probably because it's been suggested by fans from this board
Wouldn't shock me.
Also Cale Makar scores in his debut. Colorado is going to be scary good going forward, too bad for them they didn't get Hughes or Kakko.

Nashville just went ahead. The "Bible Belt" series has been good thus far. Tied at 2 w/ 10 to go in the 3rd.
I hope Adam Fox is enjoying sleeping in his new Harvard sweater with the captain's "C" while Cale Makar is scoring goals in the NHL playoffs.
I don't have a lower opinion of Pesce. I have a lower opinion of defensemen in the forward-driven NHL. I love our d-men, but a) we have too many of them, and b) they're simply not as valuable as forwards with similar talent. But to be clear, I do not have a lower opinion of Pesce than most. I love the player. Love Slavin, de Haan and Hamilton. Love TvR. Love Bean. We're just not going to win without at least two more forwards and we can afford to trade at least two d-men.
Define "similar talent". He's more valuable than Kasperi Kapanen and much of HFBoards sees those 2 as equal. If you think Adam Larrson = Taylor Hall then yes, forwards are more valuable.
C'mon. Let's not be intentionally dense here. Every draft starts with the best forwards going first. Quality forwards are more important to building a winning hockey team. Period. And don't bring up a Peter Chiarelli trade to try to back up your point. He's an idiot, and we all know it.
I'm glad they chose poorly.Literally the most recent draft had a defenseman go #1.

So, to be clear, your argument is that defensemen are more valuable than forwards?
What is the chant the crowd is cheering in CLB? They did it last game also.
