I love this kid Newhook...just watched him on NHL network with Jackie. Is 8 too early for this kid?..he is poised and mature. Looks like a winner.

Depends on who you talk to. Some folks think that if he was in a better league he'd be right in the conversation with Zegras, Turcotte, and Dach. I wouldn't be totally shocked to see him sneak into the top-10, but I think it's more likely he goes in the 10-14 range.

There is no way the Rangers are discussing Barrie. They have 4 RHD right now. There is absolutely no logic here.

We have reportedly had talks with Colorado back and forth the last 2-3 years. If Barrie was a center part of those talks — they would NOW BE DEAD. If NOT Colorado could be a very likely trade partner today.
