I get the feeling Hughes will be a regular season champion and being with many 100+ point seasons.

Kakko seems better fit to be a playoff performer. Already proved he can perform in big games.

I remember bettman being very pissed last year about all the picks and trades being reported prior to announcements and essentially ruining any suspense. I would not be surprised if a memo made it to tsn, Sportsnet, and the other major outlets to not completely ruin the show to ight before it even starts

THe NBA clued in and gave up on their hangup about Woj announcing the picks on Twitter before Silver could at the podium this year. The NHL has always been behind the times...

Doesn't help Nashville free up space for Duchene or Josi though, which seems to be the driving factor behind his name being out there.

They want forward help. There were ru.ors last year linking them to nylander. If they move subban for nylander and then make another trade with turris than they are looking much more balanced. Fabbro is filling that top 4 spot for subban next year one way or the other
