Alirght everyone, was fun chilling here. Have to get some gym and vitamin D in starting to go a little batty. I'll read up on who the future HOFer 7th rounder is in a few hours.
 
The miller trade is really unbelievable. The canucks first rounder going to Tampa is probably better than any asset we got in the original miller/mcdonagh deal and miller hasn’t done anything in that time to increase his value. I’d anything he’s worth less given his contract and lack of improvement

It’s a conditional first. If they miss the playoffs it moves to 2021.

I doubt that pick ends up being a major asset.

If you think that one pick is worth more than Hajek/Howden/Lundkvist...I don’t know what to tell you.

The first is protected, I don’t think the Canucks will be out of the playoffs in 2 years

player with term probably messed with Benning valuation. Hard to move our 1 year rental guys if the price isn't as good as what they've been historically at the deadline.

Im still more than happy with Hajek/Howden/Nils (especially Hajek) and i know 2021 pick is down the line (since vancouver probably doesn't make playoffs next year) so if they miss again in 2021 that could be a nice pick.
So I think TB did very well. Plus no retention of salary
 
We already won day one with Kakko. But it looks like we won the draft with some great value picks. They’re only lottery tickets, but I love this draft so much.
