Yeah much like the Rangers and Hank, the Giants got a generational player in an era where his position is probably at its lowest value.

f***

So was Goff.
Goff is also somewhat overrated. He sucked for Fisher, a terrible coach and was pretty good for McVay, a good coach. But Goff doesn't play well in cold weather and also doesn't play well later in the year.

I certainly don’t believe Darnold is a bust, that is ridiculous. However, Goff is no example to use. He is pretty average. He is gifted the best RB in the league, three excellent WRs, a good offensive line and a brilliant offensive coach. He was a non-factor in the last 5 weeks of the season (except against a bad 49ers team) and in the playoffs. He’s quite pedestrian without his security blanket in Kupp.

Darnold sucks. He is and always will be a turnover machine.
rosen is nothing more than a Carson Palmer at his ceiling... and an arrogant ass at that. The only thing he has going for him is that he was a 3 year starter in college but he was just a meh QB.
Quite frankly last years QB class was completely overrated and at the end of the day it will be Baker Mayfield and a field of scrubs at that position.

Barkley was the best player in the draft. Theres no arrogance in taking the BPA. Barkley is the best player this team has had since 2011 JPP. And likely Lawrence Taylor before that based on sheer offensive impact. Saquon WAS the Giants offense.

Haskins has some of the best passing stats I've ever seen coming out of college.

Murray is just going to get hurt at the NFL level. Hes not a Brees or a Wilson that is a pass first and slide on the run kind of guy. Hes a newton/rg3 who would be phenomenal If they didnt break themselves trying to get the extra yard every play.

Lmao, someone clearly didn't watch Darnold this past season. Darnold already fixed the fumbling issues he had displayed in college and showed some decent flashes last season with almost nothing on offense around him.

Mayfield also did WAY better than I thought he would, but he's also two years older than Darnold. I also even think Rosen still has a chance, but the attitude/moody issues are the most concerning part with him (as they are/were for Mayfield). I think Darnold or Mayfield will be the best QB from this class.

That being said, Giants screwed up taking Barkley over Darnold. Giants themselves know it - but will never admit it. In this day and age, you need a franchise QB.

Massive overpayment by Washington there, I loved Collins but he’s way too one dimensional of a safety to make that much. Barkley and Engram will toast him twice a year for the entirety of that deal.

Who knows how true it is, though.

Collins to washington is a big punch in the gut. Twice a year we have to face him now. But we could not pay him that type of money

Yeah so Dan Snyder is still a f***ing troglodyte

Flowers to Detroit, shockingly. Looking like 5 years 80-85M.

Crowder is one of my favorite slot guys in the league. Reminds me a lot of Cotchery in the sense that he never gives up on a ball when he has a shot to get it, as slim as it might be. His quickness in the middle of the field is going to be a welcome sign.

If the Paradis rumors are true, our OL got significantly better. We need more weapons though. Need a big red zone type target.

If we can nab Bell next, Darnold will have the weapons he needs to be successful.

Yeah I like Crowder. Paradis would definitely be a big add for ya’ll as well. Saw that the Jets had some interest in him or Morse, Morse is very good but has had injury problems (concussions I believe) which is why we let him walk.
