OT: 2019 Football Thread: Free Agency and The Draft

One thing has nothing to do with the other. We already know the Rangers have Kakko #2 behind Hughes.

The criminal part of the Giants incompetence is that even if Jones is a better prospect than Haskins (he's not), the Giants had Josh Allen at #6 and Jones at #17 virtually guaranteed

I still can't get over that Gettleman is worse than Reese, it just blows my mind. The Giants are now a far bigger clownshow than the Knicks. Jets are almost the Patriots now compared to the Giants

Two different organizations, with two vastly different approaches in recent years, that have earned one some slack and the other none.

Comparing what the Giants have done in recent years, to anything the Rangers have done is very unfair to Gorton and company.

Perhaps if the rangers adopted a different drafting philosophy that n general.

It’s borderline criminal, really. The Giants can’t let go of the past while the Rangers are trying to take a wormhole to 2021

yeah ill be back with the Giants on the 1% chance Jones turns out to be a top-10 QB or the 99% chance Gettleman gets canned, whenever that is. Life's too short to be made miserable by that dude.
 
Could be young Snacks?

That's wonderful, but we could have just kept Snacks and drafted somebody else that we need more. /kermitsippingtea.mpeg

They can fire Gettleman tomorrow but the damage has already been done. Even if they fire him, I have no faith his replacement would be any better. After all, they did minimal effort before hiring Gettleman in the first place.
