today went pretty well for the kings. best case scenario, every matchup is an upset except boston beats toronto. that would give us the 16th overall pick.
stars, blues, and blue jackets all did their part.

I think 18th overall is best case scenario with Toronto, assuming 4 non-division winners with fewer points than Toronto makes the conference finals
The mayor is saying Kings might look to move down but stay in top 10 . I think this is a good move especially if it goes hughes kakko byram Turrcotte Someone may want to move up to get the russian kid

We are picking 5th.
We are not getting another 1rd pick for moving down a few spots. So it's not worth it.
We should take Cozens and try to move our TOR pick into top 15 . Package a player + TOR pick
If we leave with Cozen and Broberg from that first round I will be happy considering this lottery disaster.
Why would Colorado do that for a player who is a year away from becoming a UFA and had the least productive season of his career?
In order for the Kings to move up, they’ll have to package something useful along with the Toronto 1st.
Isn't there a Devils board you can post this and celebrate with your fans?
Seriously wtf...
From what i have been reading on other boards and with his statement of not wanting to go to the ahl I could see Pod dropping out of the top 3 there maybe a team drafting 6 -10 that wants him. I doubt that will get us another first but a 2nd or a young player to move up for a player we aren't interested in draft is something they should consider if offered. Any free swing at a extra asset or two should be considered
I call your bluff sir.SORRY.
I had multiple HFBoards windows open and posted to the wrong board. Yes, I agree, that is a horrifically d****ish video to post on this board, and I didnt intend it.
Like this, there is not big difference between 3 to 10, if someone 6-9 or even 10 likes a guy a lot and wants to jump up to 5 to make sure they get him, Kings move down to 9 but also grab and extra 2nd round pick or even a first the following year you do it if no one guy stands out.The mayor is saying Kings might look to move down but stay in top 10 . If a team really, really wants him, they make an offer to the Hawks. If he drops out of the top 3 he will go 6-10 anyways.
Well then i guess we can agree to disagree because i think there is no way Byram makes it to 5 and i can totally see teams interested in Pod (Edmonton especially who draft 8 )There is no team picking 6-10 that will want to give up assets to move to 5 for Podz. Just don't see it happening in a somewhat forward deep first round draft like this.
If Byram is available at 5, then I could see some calls made to the Kings table.

I really hope Byram gets picked before 5 so that we get Turcotte or Cozens. Wings can get Podz if he slips like Zadina at 6. We shouldn't be doing Oilers any favors.
Players from 3-10 are pretty close, really...any one of these could end up being as good as any other...3-12 ::::
As long as the Kings get something good for it, like #5 + Carter for #10
3. Podkolzin
4. Byram
5. Turcotte
6. Cozens
7. Zegras
8. Dach
9. Krebs
10. Boldy
11. Caulfield
12. Broberg
Not many have talked about Boldy, but love the vid clips. And the """controlled violence"" thing would be killer....not to mention 'Electrfying" Scored over 100 pts between USD and USHL
Steve Kournianos - The Draft Analyst - Nov. 5th: "Electrfying winger who can plays with controlled violence and jaw-dropping skill. Boldy treats every shift as an opportunity to strike fear into his opponents."
