Yes. So why would anyone be getting so upset? If he was rated lower, that could be wrong. He could be good. It's the NHL draft. We all do this every year. We get pissed at picks every year. Yes, most will never see NHL ice. Nobody really knows which ones will, other than the obvious high end guys. I don't get, how after all these years, people still get so emotional about picks minutes after they happen. It's a flip of the coin. Anyone would likely be the wrong pick at 22, and a high skill guy is no more or less likely to succeed or fail than a safe pick. That fact plays itself out draft, after draft, after draft, after draft, after draft. All around the league. Again and again. Year after year. Without fail. Yet here we are again, talking about how awful the pick is guaranteed to be.

Seems to me like they knew everyone is making a run on D ands went with him at 22 though they probably hoped for him at 33. Lots of decent forwards still available at 33.

Depends.. Are they the Kings that Norstrom spent most of his time with?

Björnfot also played in Superelit at 16, which is not common at all. It's far less common for a 16 year old to start and have a fantastic season like he did. He'll most likely end up a 3-4 guy who can chip in more than your typical SAH type. I think he's the type that would look good along side a Clague or Durzi.

He's a helluva skater. Look at his skating at 3:2o how quick his stick and feet are to elude forecheck...better than Drew freaking Doughty. Seriously. I'm smiling from ear to ear. Helluva talent.
and rushes at 3:13. Physical on team canada at 3:47 and strips puck from Cozens easily. Look at his feet at 4:13. great mobilty and speed.

If the Kings are 31st in scoring, that will mean that #5, Vilardi, and Kupari were the wrong choices. Nothing to do with this pick.
