Imo that's why Braun and Nisky were brought in.

Playoffs are entirely different season, yet people think they hit the gold mine of great moves by simply thinking the AHL will be enough

If they get in the playoffs and they should hopefully Hart get can on a hot streak and then anything can happen.

Right but that means we went deep in the playoffs because our goalie caught fire, not because of the play of what ever marginal upgrade we squeeze under the cap.

I would rather they bank of Frost getting it together by the playoffs and becoming a more impactful player then he currently is. Right now the best we can probably add is somebody of current Frost's ilk or maybe slightly better.

The last time we had a team go deep in the playoffs it was partially on the strengths of a young skill player that blossomed into an impact player during the playoff run.

Why is it so impossible to think that something like that on a lesser scale can't happen again.

I agree with you and think the only upgrade they could use is a 4c if they can get one cheap. I’m just saying they have a chance in the playoffs and anything can happen. This is a good team.

no no I said a few times I prefer Couts/Hayes and Giroux or Frost down the middle. Raffl I guess as the 4c with what we have on our roster.

Laughton or Raffl are perfectly fine as 4C. Any possible upgrade isn’t worth the price.

yes, you would pass up on 27 old center that can score 20 goals because he's not 18 years old, to you, your rules are, every player has to be 18 or 19 years old or im going to hate this organization until i die.

Honestly tho I think G stays at center as he is playing so good there, so will most likely be Bunny for 4C
