Personally dont like amido on the team. He is a bottom 6 player, and there are better bottom 6 with more character and bring more to the locker room than he does.
I think we have seen enough of Amadio to know that he is not going to be a top 6 talent. We have a backlog of bottom 6 guys. There is no need to keep Amadio and Lewis around. Luff hasn't shown anything special either, other than speed. I like Lizzote and Wagner a lot for our bottom 6. Ideally, we see Carter moving to wing on the second line to mentor a young center like Vilardi or Turcotte, or we move Carter down as 3C. The biggest challenge is what to do with Kaliyev. It is time for him to go pro, but he can't play in the AHL. It would be nice to keep Turcotte and Kaliyev together in the AHL with our other young talent.
Another question I’ve been thinking about is which of our centers are most likely going to be moved to the wing?
Turcotte
Vilardi
Kupari
Anderson-Dolan
Madden
Thomas
Have we ever heard what injury Carter was dealing with? Can we be lucky enough that he's LTIR bound for the remainder of his contract?
I read about a month ago he is still not skating so I would bet we've seen his last shift in the NHL. I think he will be shuffled to LTIR. And before somebody dissects my post I'll go ahead and say this is all my opinion and I have nothing to base it on.The only info we got was said to be lower body, unrelated to his sliced tendon. Safe assumption, groin injury.
I figured it would happen sooner or later. Either from the tendon or the past foot injuries.I read about a month ago he is still not skating so I would bet we've seen his last shift in the NHL. I remember this as well, it was in one of the Q+As I believe, I was shocked when they just let it slip and there was no follow up Basically he was rehabbing and if the season were to restart for the Kings he wouldn't have played is what I recall.
I'm not sure he'll be LTIRetired though, dude is pretty proud, I think he'll give it one more go.
I agree, he will play if he possibly can. I have to respect that.I remember this as well, it was in one of the Q+As I believe, I was shocked when they just let it slip and there was no follow up Basically he was rehabbing and if the season were to restart for the Kings he wouldn't have played is what I recall.

Carter underwent successful core surgery last Thursday according to the Kings, expected to be ready to go when and if there is a next season.
He played almost every game, but we have too many third and fourth liners on the roster that can't score.Surprised Wagner isn't getting more love. 12 goals his first year and 6 his second year - he can fly and has grit.
He should be an everyday player.

If hockey was about breakaways and shooting the puck in to the goalie's chest, wagner would be f***ing Gretzky
But between Lizotte, Amadio, Wagner, Prohorkin, and Moore we have too many of those guys. I should add in Kempe too, but he actually broke the 10 goal barrier.
I left of Lewis because I don't expect him back
You would take him over Lizotte? This sounds like NYC Lt. Dan talking and not space shuttle leg Lt. Dan.
Wagner might be the fastest player in the league. We can talk about guys like Kempe bringing speed but nobody is coming close to Wagner. If we have a bunch of dudes that are bottom six players because they can't score, give me someone with an elite trait over a JAG.
Beyond the speed, he led the team in hits and was 8th in takeaways. He also has some jam to his game and will get in the odd scrap, something that is basically non-existent in the current group of forwards since Clifford's departure.
He had an unsustainable 18% shooting percentage in 2019 when he potted 12 goals. He was at 5% for this past season. He definitely isn't the 18% guy but he may not be the 5% guy either. With the amount of breakaways and rushes he can generate with that speed, however, it doesn't take much for that 5% to notch up a tad to where he is a 10 goal guy. 10 goals at 11 minutes a game while leading the team in hits? Sign me up all day long.
Out of all those guys you listed, I'd take him over all of them.
You would take him over Lizotte?
No way jose on my end. Lizotte is a way better two player , had 11 more points in the same number of games . Lizotte is one of our better face off men and if you are a Star Wars fan, you can make Blake Lasat jokes
