This season, Forbort has the worst team on ice shooting percentage among regular Kings defensemen. The team as a whole is less dangerous offensively when he is on ice. The same was true last season. The season before that he only beat out Phaneuf. It's a trend..

1-6-1 in New Years. A bunch of guys who look like they've mailed it in, a few probably know they are gone and have 1 foot out the door, a few others who are clearly suffering from losing fatigue like Doughty and Kopitar. And who can blame a guy like Doughty if that's the case, he has played in 9 playoff games from his age 25-30 seasons, this after being the best player on a team that won 2 cups and went 10-1 in playoff series in his age 22-24 seasons. But right now Doughty just looks like he has checked out.
