Normally, I like the underdog, and I was really cheering for the Czechs because of Chytil. And Canadians seems obnoxious when the subject is hockey.

It was USA, Canada and Finland.

Czech Republic beating Russia is what made the seeding for the playoffs so lopsided.

Canada also got a little lucky that they were in that position to begin with as the USA would've gotten that spot had they not lost to Slovakia, who they really shouldn't have lost to.

Making up for some of the luck lost in last year's final shootout I guess

The goalie, Hadjek (number 3, defenseman) and Necas.

Chytil had an uneven tournament, Andersson has had a great tournament thus far.

The key for fans is to not get too high or too low on these kids based on the tournament.

The key for the kids is to learn and grow from the "little room for error" type environment the tournament offers.

I love Canada.

I absolutely abhor The Canadian National Hockey Team at every level across both genders.

Hell, I don't even like the United States but the USNT is still my hockey team.

Canada in hockey is like Bayern Munich in Soccer. They embrace being the team everyone want to beat. I really respect them, but of course hate to lose against them.

I thought Canada looked really good against the Czech, think this will be really difficult for Lias and Co.

There's no question Zadina and Necas have out performed Chytil this tournament. C'mon now.

Chytil started off great, but then his performance took a dip later on.

Agree that it wasn’t a strong game from Chytil against Canada but he was setting up his linemates left and right in the quarterfinals as well as generating shots for himself, so I don’t buy that he wasn’t good for “a few” games. The lack of strong linemates, the lack of PP opportunities and unfortunate minor injuries did impact his production but overall Chytil has had a strong showing in this tournament.

I gotta wonder if all those hits Chytil took early on in the tournament had any effect. He had some BRUTAL hits in the first two games.

i'll tell you what Canada better stay out of the box because that Swedish powerplay will torch that pk. Czechs blew that game early with the two glaring open net misses on the pp. but that pk has not looked good at all.
