Honestly, a part of me would enjoy these games more if I didn't spend the whole game looking for our guys' numbers and being frustrated every missed play.

Didn't someone say the Rangers had interest in bringing this coach aboard. Must've been from AV.
Either Adam Herman or Josh Khalfin said that Pesan was invited to join the Rangers at the prospect development camp early in the summer.

Not sure why or if he did actually go.

Good that he didn't go. This guy is scapegoating Chytil, he did so earlier in the tournament as well, publicly called him out.

Will he scapegoat Necas for that bad play on the PK? Probably not.

To be fair, since last game Chytil has not been good. He is turning the puck often in his own zone.

He's also their best player.

They have no depth. If he wants to win, I don't think he can afford to do what he's doing.
Agreed. But do you really think he is better than Zadina and Necas as a prospect? I know he doesn't have the skilled wingers to support him, but Zadinas and Necas are flying on the ice in this tournament.

There's no question Zadina and Necas have out performed Chytil this tournament. C'mon now.

Yeah because they are playing with an NHL'er on their line. Chytil is playing with nobodies. This stuff always happens that a player gets shafted in the line arrangements for a tournament like this, and then they have a few less points than players they are better than.

Do you think they are better hockey players than Chytil? I don't. Necas has 5 points in 13 Czech League games and he's 8 months older than Chytil. Chytil is only like two months older than Zadina and he's near PPG in a good men's league, Zadina is playing against juniors.

Pesan confirmed to Czech media he was invited to the Rangers prospect camp

I'm pretty sure he was there but I can't find anything confirming he was

Word came down that the Rangers want him getting prepared for AV's tenure.

I think Zadina is a better player than Chytil, yes. Necas is much closer than you're giving him credit for. However, that's not really the point. Those guys have been consistent in generating offense, while Chytil has proven to be quite irresponsible with the puck. The coach has every right to hold him accountable.

Chytil is really getting the short end of the stick team mate/ice time wise out of the big 3 Czech players, but he was leading the team in ES points before the game. Granted, he's played worse than his first few games the last period + game. As far as being the better prospect in the grand scheme of things, I think it's 1) Zadina 2) Chytil 3) Necas

Chytil has been one of the top SOG generators in this tournament, don't know what you are talking about. Necas is so defensively responsible that his error lead to the first Canada goal. The coach has the right to do whatever he wants, doesn't mean its the correct decision.

Also, people put way too much into point totals at this tournament. Its a short tournament. As I mentioned, line combinations can factor in a lot, shooting percentages factor in. Chytil's been fine. If you thought he was a better prospect before this tournament than Necas and Zadina, you should think the same after this tournament. If you didn't, your opinion shouldn't really be changing.
