4-3 USA. Expecting them to rebound from yesterday, I think they're a slightly better team.

Probably should pick 4-2 USA given I've been 1 goal off on Canada's total in both the first 2 games

3-1 Canada. Gonna say conditions make it harder to score than usual. Lots of bad bounces and passes missing the mark.

I like that view they just showed from the nose bleeds. Would be better off watching on a tablet or your phone up there

Missed that but interesting to hear that confirmed.. was it on US or Canadian TV?

To put things in perspective, looking at the last 6 years - out of Russia, Finland, Sweden, US and Canada, Canada has performed (arguably) the worst if you count medals. That's not really fair to say generally speaking but I find too many of us here in Canada take their team to be for sure the best. Then again, most that are super sure of that don't watch much hockey.

Looking forward to this one!

It was on Canadian tv. I agree with the points that the USA having 10 times the population Canada does it's a statistical given that they can produce 23 equally skilled players in any given year. They touched on a lot of non hockey markets where the game is becoming more popular which is great for the on ice product for us fans to watch.

Having said that, the last 6 years are hard to use as examples of Canada's "downfall" with regards to our talent development etc. During those 6 years we've seen a LOT of big name kids left off the team due to questionable roster selection choices (Monaghan, Couture, Konecny the year before he actually made the team) and those are just off the top of my head players from the 67s alone. Couple that with a couple years of coaching (Spott and Lowry) in which those two guys would have been fired from a peewee AAA program mid season with the ineptness they showed and it's resulted in some bleak years for team Canada
