'pretend it is not a PP, we are playing at 5v5, all our forwards have equal talent and pretend we have Sergachev and Provorov on defense.'

I am not some Russia hater either.

I generally concur that a lot of Europeans (not just Russians) would be better served staying in Sweden, Russia or Finland until ~20-21 years old too.

(Plus one of my favourite ex's is Russian... though that might sound like it could harbour ill will it does not! )

Russian coaching used to be way ahead of the game. It used to be a science. Now the best we can do is Bragin and that makes me sad.

And I don't dislike him, but a tactician he isn't.
