WC: 2018 - Team Czech Republic

We can assume they will add 4 forwards, 1 defenseman and 1 goaltender. Kousal and Šťastný are not registered yet, so Chytil and Kaut both have a chance.

The situation is Hanzl and Krejčík will be added if they are healty enough, Hrachovina will be No.3. Which mean Musil and Pyrochta likely going home and Kousal/Šťastný/Chytil/Kaut fighting for 3 spots. NHL players from Round 2 could possibly change the situation. Nečas is wearing #98, he probably hoping for Pastrňák and did not take his 88:).

Jesus add them and forget it. If it should be same what 91 Canada cup was for Czechoslovakia, be it. Kousal and Stastny will follow classic path being solid against Slovakia, worse against Sweden and then they will have to be replaced. I dont even need Pastrnak. If they are mentally ready, let them play.

Id take Pastrnak! Is rather him win the cup but if he is free, then I'm okay with it.lol

Guess Canada won't be undefeated like I predicted. Amazing what a good goalie can do.

So from that young roster it appears to be just Sklenicka, Moravcik, Necas, Hronek? Thats a “revolution”. I would even rather not see two of them. Boring

Musil is a bad defender. Big mistake in nomination.
And Jandač is a really bad coach. Chytil was one of the best players in the Swedish games and may not even play at all. That's the rejuvenation of the cadre ..?

And Moravcik is not really young either. (and he's not even good)
How do you go from Zadina, Chytil, Necas, Kaut, Galvas, Chlapik, Kase, Tomasek and Sklenicka to Necas, Sklenicka and Hronek only (who wouldn't even be here if his team wasn't eliminated)? Pathetic. This is Jandac's last year, I expected him to show some balls and go with a truly young team, instead he goes for the alibistic safe veterans. Such a letdown after all those "time for youth" comments from Jandac.

Also, no thanks to Pastrnak. Not only I want Boston to advance, I also hate this roster spot(s) saving. Just write the best players and go with them.

I don't believe he's not adding Chytil and Kaut ... Especially not after all the "youth" talk we've heard. He wouldn't be so stupid. I hope.
Maybe they want to keep them "unsure" so they work harder lol ?
 
Musils accreditation expires tomorrow, he should be on his way home.
 
So, Chytil and Kaut or Kousal and Stastny ? We dont know yet... what about Chytil and Kousal option ?

Pastrnak and Krejci will sort out all Jandac fears about this nomination. He would have to cut the rest and have easy explanation for it. Problem solved.
 
this Jandac guy is sick. the only thing he has to do is to add two healthy players. But he is playing chess, i think...

First three lines look ok imo, Hope Chytil will have good game if other two guy are able to catch on his wave. Moravcik - Sklenicka..... better now against slovak guys from extraleague but I hope Hronek will jump into it during the match. When I look at it my enthusiam decreasing. There is just Necas, Chytil and Hronek and thats all. Its just really small czech vawe of talent. There is really no room from where to pick. Its seriously very average group of players overall but lets hope.....

I am just curious whether two four spots from this year juniors make any impact on draft. If not, thats smth to think about a lot.

And go czechs go.

Hronek will play for sure, he should get PP time too. Josef Jandač alone said it.
