I agree with Budík, but Buffalo did not sign him yet. I also do not like these lines. I'll be mad if Chytil and Kaut they do not play the first game.

I know they didn't sign him, there is sure reason for that. I don't watch him, so I don't know how good he is. But when we talk about our talented defensemen, I think he is one of these who deserve some attention.

Yeah, apparently both teams have entered a phase of radical change, and belong to the more interesting squads in the tournament development-wise.
We are forced to put players like Wiederer, Michaelis and Eisenschmid into responsible positions, which warrants a good portion of optimism. Looking forward to the results.

You were right... 1 way contact but the cap hit is so small that he can still be buried in AHL. Looks like he is backup to start. Very good news.

I think the only difference is Francouz went for the best opportunity while Koskinen signed for best money. Hence such disparity.

Seeing guys like Kousal and Stastny get registered instead of Chytil and Kaut is what I was hoping wouldn't happen. I get they play different roles and the coach knows best but I was really hoping we'd give all the young guys a chance and not sit them in favour of Euro guys.

My guess is grit, experience and character. Probably play 10 minutes and not make many mistakes. Maybe they are good on pk or shot blocking? Basically, prototypical third and fourth liners. I could be very wrong though... I don't follow either guy at all.

That would be nice... I didn't realize he signed a 2 year contract this week. Looks to be 1 way but with a 300k minimum in ahl. Czechs are very affordable in today's NHL!

So Radim Šimek said it's false, he is still in San Jose and recovering from concussion. Unlikely he would come with these symptoms.

He wants to play NHL, even if it mean worse contract for now. That's is good attitude for sure. When he went there last year with Jeřábek and Rutta, I trusted him most from them, hopefully he will made it eventually.

I guess it's more about Francouz choosing the best team for him, while Koskinen choose the team that offer best contract. Also Koskinen have Silver medal from WHC and is KHL champion, I think they are on similiar level, but NHL teams can think differently.

Not registering Chytil and Kaut reminds me of a bunch of wacky Team USA decisions from years past. Put the best players on the ice, period. Especially when you don't have the kind of talent pool other teams have.
