I think he'll score 10+ per year. He's pretty sneaky for a big guy and he has a variety of shooting options. I don't know about 40 assists per year, but he seems like a pretty safe guy to play 25 minutes per night some day.

It's a little strange to me that the only defenceman that anyone takes for the habs is Boqvist. Wai tho. He's the riskiest of the elite crop of RD.

And hes the most talented.

I just dont see Dobson ever becoming the type of D that would help this team achieve a greater goal. Bouchard, Hughes, Boqvist and Smith all have better upside to me. (Not saying i would draft those ahead.)

I want a boom pick. I want one. Can we, Habs fan, have something nice for once? We had Subban, now hes gone, we had Sergachev, now hes gone... just give me eliteness.

Not a fan of pick 35 or even 38, but sign me up for the rest. Both Johansson and Andersson ? f*** yes.

Andersson's the type of upside pick I want us to make. He's one of my favorites.

Merkley has more upside but Addison is more safe because he isn't a f***ing idiot.

They are very similar though. They both create almost specifically off being shoot heavy.

I could see Dobson have a McAvoy type of trajectory. He's already pretty complete and those two summers post-draft should get him to pro-level strength/weight.

I'd be happy to add a pick for him, if that's possible.

I wouldn't be nervous with Kotkaniemi. If he doesn't end up as a center he can still be a good top 6 player that will more likely than not be a 1st liner.

I mean I get the WJC rose his stock, but he didn’t do anything remarkable for BU after that. There’s no way he should have any type of momentum going into the draft.

True.....but at 3, I'm going Zadina all the way, but HABS should project what the other teams would want and make a trade with one of the teams after and select Kotkaniemi. Personally, I think he goes at 11 or 9

He'll take the consensus #3 that's got good size, is the more talented player, scored more goals and plays in the Q.....it makes too much sense.
