Maybe a couple spots. There's naturally going to be more movement towards the 20s.

I haven't talk to him in a few years, I'm not on twitter and don't follow anyone so I don't know what he's been up to. Just that in past (years ago) he was helpful with prospect stuff about the Habs and the draft.

Kotkaniemi has the instincts / sense/ IQ of a 1C in my book. The question for me is he going to have the quickness to create the plays he wants to at the faster NHL pace. To me it looks like he probably can, but he has to actually do it. If he can, I think he is a 1C. If he improves his skating he is a better 1C.

If he isnt quick enough, as long as he goes to the net and is willing to tough it out, he will be a good 2C because he still has a really nice skill set. He shows this willingness now so I dont see why it would change. I just don't see him being as low as a 3C, just too much skill.

Somebody needs to call Saku.

So thats my call, a 2C with potential to be a 1C.

He's definitely lost it since he's been on the outs with McKeens and I think that might have a lot to do with the crazy rankings of certain players. Wants to be right so he can launch pad his own success while humiliating his detractors. But it is having the opposite effect.

He is also very young... I guess we'll see where we pick soon, but I don't really have a problem taking him anywhere after #2 at this point. He's definitely somewhere in the next tier and has a lot of room to grow...

Boqvist would be nice, but he doesnt fit a need or give the habs an elite forward like Svechnikov does.

Stats are not everything, but Zadina is not far from Hischier!! Both are really good players
