Demidov is a HAB
Sounds like chris Drury. I'm sure they are related?
It's his son

He's his nephew. There's alot of his Chris in Jack's game.
Yep. Which is funny because looking at how Jack plays you'd swear he was Chris' son. While Tyler plays alot more of a skilled game than John ever did.Is it his nephew? Thought it was his son. Maybe I just mentally attributed Drury and Madden as both having NHL dad's.
Getting a pick in that 10 range for Pacioretty would be decent enough. Even if Kotkaniemi is off the board, Barrett Hayton would be a nice consolation prize.
Obviously, but the Habs are on the far end of BS and they shouldnt be the standard. If they fail, its on them.C'mon, you can't apply that line of thinking to every organization. Look at how the Habs have handled their C position -- they can't groom ****.
If Lavoie was in the 2018 draft, where about does he get picked? Curious
Uhm no
Lavoie has higher upside, it's clear. I think the 8-15 range sounds about right.Yes.
If this was his draft season, no chance his 63 pts in 68 games would put him in the top 5
Veleno got way more points and is expected to go in the mid 1st round.
I'm biased, but a huge Hayton fan.
Hounds were ground down after playing a pair of tough seven-game series before the league final vs. Hamilton.
It showed in their six-game exit but Hayton's motor was among the least effected. He was a threat on O and worked hard. Might have been the Hounds best forward in the playoffs; most consistent.
Would love to get a primetime D man at 3 (Hughes?) and Hayton 7-8 picks later.
Greedily want that 2nd selection in the first round without peddling any second-rounders (MaxPax deal?).

You're in the right thread for takes on Hayton that contradict yours. I honestly don't know who's right but the overwhelming majority opinion that I've read in this thread, is not favorable or flattering to Hayton.

- I think he's a great player. I just have him as a mid 1st type player and I see a big difference between him and Kotkienemi

He would be the youngest player in the draft... What a terrible argumentYes.

People like Hayton, they just don’t like him at 7th overall like Grant. But I’d gladly have him in the Habs pipeline if they grab the 15th pick from the Panthers.
I'll take a one-year, self-imposed sabbatical if Hayton doesn't go in the first dozen picks.
I'd rather take Thomas instead of Hayton
