Why is that? Both players were considered to have as much upside as anyone not named Dahlin and Svechnikov at their respective positions. And now they’re showing great progress in their D+1 year’s. I feel very comfortable making the comment I did.

So, the Rangers may have gotten the forward with the highest upside in the 2018 draft behind Svechnikov, and the Dman with the highest upside in the same draft behind Dahlin. And Joey Keane (Nothing else needs to be said.)

Before the draft I looked at Lundqvist as Boqvist-lite too, he’s not tearing it up as soon as Miller/Kravtsov are, but I think he’s got huge upside too

Can say he’s been carrying the team offensively in the last few weeks. Just to reiterate your statement - D+1 prospects just don’t do that in the KHL at that age.

To his credit, Kravstov should have gotten the Primary and Secondary assist on that goal for how awesome it was.

Honestly, they announced it that way during the game as well. I am sure they will fix it afterwards. But man, he was all over the place today. That one sequence on the delayed penalty was amazing!

Has his play really picked up? or are the chances hes been generating finally going in? Because it seemed like he was good for 3 or 4 glorious chances per a game early on that didn't go in for one reason or another.

He seems more at ease recently, but yeah. The bounces are going his way. I think he finally got over the hump, but not because of his team. His team's scoring is still low. It all improved when Stoa was moved up and Polyganov was centering the Kravtsov line. Stoa is still snake-bitten. Glinkin and Kravtsov have chemistry

You could see it today again. Glinkin is always looking for Kravtsov, even when there are 3 players blocking the lanes, Glinkin tries to pass to Kravtsov. His teammates are looking for him. That's great

I really don’t see any high upside in Lundkvist, he doesn’t have the tools to be more than solid middle pairing guy
