It's something noticed before, but saw it again just now. On the PP, he is waiting at the top of the right circle (his sweet spot) and he didn't get the puck, but still made the stick move after the whistle just to "get the shot off" so to speak.

No. They pick a goalie, defenseman and forward from each division, but not every team like the NHL. Which makes it actually impressive Kravtsov was selected.
