true but in recent years the prospect thread has been more for the misc prospects that don't get in depth discussions...we've focused on the top guys in their own specific threads. :D

And Lundkvist deserves to be talked about in his own thread. That's what our best D-prospect deserves

Looks awkward but not terrible? Hopefully just a tweak? He was able to get up and try to finish the play, rather than staying crumpled on the ice, so hopefully he just tweaked or strained something.

The Rangers should offer the support of their medical staff if need be.

I expect him to fly back to Sweden today as a precaution. No reason to play him again if it's a tweak.

You can't tell a thing about the severity from being able to skate off or not. I have seen guys continue to play a game and then be out for months or limp and be carried off and play a few days later.

I hope he's ok.

I like Adam fox a lot...but sometimes I feel like people really overrate him.. I see him as a number 3 defenseman.

Maybe it's just me?

He's got the offensive potential as a top pair no doubt, I want to see him defensively first. There will definitely be some growing pains in that department i'm sure.

Yeah. For me, Miller, with his potential to be exceptional at both ends of the ice while also being a completely dominant force physically, is in his own league.

I think Lundkvist plays a better two-way game than Fox, but Fox has unparalleled offensive upside. You could probably sell me on either one above the other. If Fox looks competent defensively this season while also showing the offense that we know is there, I might bump him in front just a hair.

I saw that he is out for the remainder of the tourny, but do we have any details on the injury severity? Is it something that is just an unfortunate accident that is no worry, or is this something that could be an issue down the line?

Nothing released yet but it was a freak injury. Not something I am worrying about

My big issue with fox is his skating. People are kinda skirting it as if it's nothing because of his brilliance with the puck on his stick...but it's a concern for me.
