Yeah, I would. I mean, I wouldn’t lose all respect for the guy. Just a shred of it. Most of what I want from my GM is a strong assessment of reality and that... that’s not what that would be.

Agreed completely.

I’m not that interested in moving up to any spot we’d realistically be moving up to.

I’d be okay losing a late 1st in the kind of deal we’ve talked about before. Zuccarello + 1 for Hanifin type of trade.

I mean I do like them, or what I have read of them from the guys here I trust. But in saying that, Tkachuk is, to me, in the middle of that grouping of players. Maybe some will want Wahlstrom or Boqvist but there are others who like Tkachuk. Basically, what I’m saying, is that at 9, barring a weird move, the Rangers should be able to get a good player that I’ll be excited about. Tkachuk being one of them

To be clear, I do not want Tkachuk. That's just my rankings as of now and what I expect to happen. I prefer Dobson/Bouchard, but doubt they're available.
