I'm not buying into the media.
I see what I see.
Maybe I'm just too old to grasp the new age leaders.
Get ready to take Bosa.play eli all year and were picking top 5 again. dont **** up and pass on a QB.
i mean...i wouldnt hate it, if a top qb just wasnt there. we'd obviously have to trade for a qb somehow. maybe winston becomes available. eli cannot be on this team next year though. have some dignity and retire dude, ur just embarassing yourself out there. you look like a confused rookie without the 22 year old arm talent.Get ready to take Bosa.
You actually believe that?He put fire into his teammates last week. He was out there calming down Shep last week. The guy hates to lose. Remember Fox going off on him leaving the field? He was getting an IV. Yet here we are having a bunch of clowns speculate that he's quitting on the team when he's just in the back trying to re-hydrate himself.
Don't buy into this NY media bull****, dude.
You actually believe that?
Why? He's shown very little ability to do that.I was all for re-signing him but I was expecting him to act more like an adult.
There are other less-talented but still really good guys I'd take before OBJ. Like a DeAndre Hopkins or Michael Thomas or something. I've said before, OBJ is phenomenal, but it just always seems like there's something going on with him. Winning or losing it seems like there's always some chatter about something he did or said separate from his on-field production. I think it was a couple years ago I said it, and yet it still feels true. Just me, though.OBJ is truly this generation's Terrell Owens. Would love him on the Jets though.
99% of this is the NY media focus. Plain and simple. If he was on Jacksonville, 3/4 of the shit wouldn't get a peep. The IV thing yesterday wouldn't have been blown out of proportion, at a minimum. There are other less-talented but still really good guys I'd take before OBJ. I don't live in NY, and I don't pay attention to the NY media (unless it's to read a story about the Rangers or maybe the Jets). So, just like @klingsor said to you, it's got nothing to do with the NY media. I just have an idea of how players should handle themselves in team sports, and I don't really think OBJ fits the bill for me. Again, just my preference.99% of this is the NY media focus. Solely my opinion: If it was urgent I'd have expected him to be accompanied by medical staff. If it wasn't urgent he could have stayed for the additional play. Are you saying that both Shurmur and Beckham are lying? It was confirmed that he had one against the Saints as well (he left the sideline early then, too, but there were not cameras on him to create rampant speculation).
What evidence do you have to the contrary?
Do you really think superstars on other teams don't get the same scrutiny? OBJ isn't the first player to get headlines for leaving the sidelines early. That has nothing to do with the overall scenario. Being that he plays in NY, and most sports media throughout the US is based out of or runs heavily on NY sports, it's amplified to 11. Your preference is yoru own and that's fine, but we have to be able to admit that everything is hyper-analyzed by him from ESPN down to the NY Post due to where he plays and who he plays for.

If you're cramping I don't expect you to be jogging off the field unsupervised. Just my uneducated opinion. He seemed upset and this is right after he was fined for his comments last week. I can't say they're connected but I really don't believe much of what I'm hearing from the Giants these days. Why? I've seen plenty of players walk off on their own for IVs over the years. It's really not at all uncommon.
Absolutely I do. I think that the media is hyper-focused on him. Especially being that he's a young, black, flashy superstar. I don't want to discuss race-in-sports, here, but I find that certain players get certain treatment.
I mean, yeah, it's amplified. Like the leaving the field early thing probably is a tiny blip on the radar for a lot of other guys. But, you can't pretend as if a lot of the attention OBJ receives isn't from his own doing. The stuff with Norman. The Miami trip. Punching a hole in the locker room wall. Getting punched back by a kicking net. The video in bed. The bizarre interview with Lil Wayne, of all people, at his side. That's all attention he has brought upon himself, and of course, with stardom comes increased scrutiny. That has nothing to do with the overall scenario. I find it interesting that outside of Gronk none of those guys have won anything. If you're cramping I don't expect you to be jogging off the field unsupervised. Just my uneducated opinion. Dex Bryant, Antonio Brown,TO, Randy Moss, Gronk, "Ocho Cinco"etc. Big time WRs (and 1 TE) seem like the most mercurial personalities in sports (outside maybe the NBA) and their every shenanigan seems to get widely reported.

QB is a much more important position than WR. You don't need an elite WR to win in the NFL particularly when that player becomes a distraction. Both Aaron Rodgers and Brady throw **** and yell at their coaches and teammates and both have won. Not sure that matters much at all.
Can't judge individuals just on rings. AB is 1st team All Pro the last 4 years and at least has a SB appearance.I find it interesting that outside of Gronk none of those guys have won anything.
TO is a hall of famer. But most people only seem to know him due to his various off field issues despite playing in SF, Philly, Buffalo, Dallas and Cinci.TO should honestly be in a class of his own.
