I was rooting for Dallas but it would've been weird if they won tonight. Blues dominated the entire 4 1/2 periods I watched.

Gross that it was Maroon.

Robert Thomas, drafted 20th overall in 2017, making big plays in the playoffs. Would be nice to see that kind of turn around with prospects who can make an impact within a year or two after they're drafted.

This Blues was about as dead in the water as we were and its absolutely amazing that they're in the conference finals. I wouldn't mind the Blues knowing that we entered the league at the same time.

Yep. They went from competing for a potential lottery pick to being in the Conference Finals. I guess that's what happens when you have players who play with pride.

You mean like a 21 year old Tanner Pearson ripping up the playoffs going .5 PPG, or a 20-21 year old Tyler Toffoli doing the same thing, or a similar-aged Slava Voynov....you get the idea?

Need a few things to hit there, most notably a playoff team.

Blues' story is great especially with the hometown boy sealing it. Bishop was amazing tonight, but it would have been criminal if Dallas stole that one.

Pearson drafted in 2012, Toffoli in 2010, Voynov in 2008. I guess it's totally acceptable to stop producing picks like that given how long they've gone without drafting any impact players. How much further do you want to reach?

I'm just saying, you're acting like they've never done it.

But hey, Wagner looked pretty god damn good, same with Amadio if he got more opportunity.

Obviously lots more needs to go right, all I'm saying is don't forget.

If only Vilardi wasn't mummified.

Did I state the Kings have never done that? I'm saying it's nice when a team can draft a player who can jump in and play a year or two removed from his draft year. Like your example shows, you have to go far back to come up with examples.

Don't know what type of player Amadio will become as he's still trying to figure that out too, but Wagner can be that type of play driver with his speed and tenacity. If only we could witness his performance in the playoffs.

The Blues started their tear once they got a bunch of guys back from injury. They were swiss cheese in the beginning of the season up and down the lineup.

The Kings are a long way away from being a good team when you look at the skill in these playoffs. It's like an entirely different league of talent. They need to really hit on this draft and have their kids elevate.

Two words that should never be used in the same breath with 90 percent of this team. You can't win in today's game when you just don't have it.

Schenn has 1g and 4pts in 13 games. 2 pts at ES. Tarasenko has 5g, 4 of them on the PP. That's 2 of their top 3 F in ice time. Binnington "only" has a .915sv%, which is an average total for goalies in the playoffs this year. 5th out of the 6 goalies that have played at least 10 games. 10th out 16 teams in GF. The only team from between 9th and 16th in GF to win a game in the 2nd round. Sort of amazing they're in the conference final. Schwartz has 8g in the playoffs, had 11 in 69 games in the regular season. That's a huge reason why.

St louis’ performance is what the playoffs are about ,mediocre team gelled at the right time to become a very good team , do not understand the choice to go with a coaching change and decide to go with a interim coach , limiting possible candidates and then picking the worse possible coach to”right the ship”, hopefully one day someone on the inside will let us know why from players to VP they decided to let this season go costing many not to renew , seems like bad business to make some of these decisions let’s hope he is not in charge of who we pick in this draft

Bishop was amazing...only reason they made it to OT. And the longer it went on, with Blues dominating, I felt that dallas would get a fluky goal and win it.

And they almost did, one shot rolled on the line and didn't cross it.
