49 years. That's a long time.

It's been 25 years since Montreal last won, and who knows when it will happen again.

Seen absolute greatness, sharp coaching, cool drafts, shrewd trades, and then I have seen the bottom of those same barrels, too, and points in between.

Just thinking how another season has passed and why I don't burn up over not winning.

Well, when your team wins the Cup there is incredible freedom. The agonizing chase is over.

You're free to look at the game and what it means to you from brand new angles with greatly renewed appreciation.

In future years, the chase will be back on but through any and all disappointments, and there will be some, you will have tonight, always.

The climb from the cellar to the top floor is truly incredible.

No I don't think so. I let my wife pick some stuff, and then I got my dad and I some. I think we ended up with three hats, a sweatshirt, a few T-Shirts, and a decal for the car.
