I think there is some kind of glitch in the system that is preventing Kjellberg's stats from being officially recorded.Keane was scoreless and even with five shots. London won Game 1.
Gross was scoreless and -1. Oshawa lost in OT.
Kjellberg has yet to register a statistic in his game, with about 10 to play.
Nils lundqvist just scored against Frölunda in the first semi final game.

That's it. We need to create the Simon Kjellberg award -- given out to each season's most invisible prospect.
Nooooo.......rename it to Johan Lipbalm (If you are out there Melnyk, that's for you)That's it. We need to create the Simon Kjellberg award -- given out to each season's most invisible prospect.
I think being injured and not playing most of the season has really cemented the idea that this kid is completely useless in people’s mindsWhether he was the best value choice at 39 or not, I think Lindbom has a lot more potential than people realize.
Just a friendly reminder that we’re talking about a sixth round pick here, so whether one believes there is nepotism or not, this is really a non-news item.
Nepotism or not, it was a terrible pick that the vast majority of the board was immediately sour on.
I'm not going to spend any time researching the other defensemen taken after him in the draft, but I would be surprised if I found more than one (if that) whom I wouldn't swap Kjellberg for straight up.
Well, if you truly believe Kjellberg was a wasted, throw-away pick, that should still be troubling even in round six. As we all know, you can assemble a pretty damn good team of guys drafted in the sixth round or later.Just a friendly reminder that we’re talking about a sixth round pick here, so whether one believes there is nepotism or not, this is really a non-news item.
I don’t have any particularly strong feelings for or against the pick.
I think it’s the drama around it on here that’s actually far more interesting.
I think swapping him for most anyone near or around there would be the equivalent or rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, but it is what it is.

Then why pick any players after the 5th round at all?
I’m not sure I understand the premise of your statement.
Sixth round picks are long shots. Kjellberg is a long a shot. Thus far, he’s a long a shot that hasn’t worked out.
Does that suck? Yes.
Is that something that I’m going to lose sleep over and really dwell on?
Probably not.
And the truth is that this is less about a sixth round pick performing like many sixth round picks perform. This is about a bigger issue that a certain portion of this board has with the pick.
My premise is based around Kjellberg being much more than a long shot. Most guys taken in the 6th/7th round are still a step ahead of their average peers. Kjellberg's numbers don't look any better than a decent beer leaguer would put up; and that was basically predicted by the board.
Referencing my above post, Kesselring went immediately after him and has put up about 0.5 P/GP in the same league. That's a long shot. Kjellberg was a throwaway pick.
My biggest issue with the whole “it’s a 6th round pick, and those picks are longshots anyways” argument is, at what point does it stop?
This was a wasted pick, straight up. Hopefully it doesn’t become a habit
