The visor obscures their view. Distorts it, or it gets water on it. Basic protection is all that some want.

I won't read into a Bowey scratch just yet, at least until we reach Nolan Yonkman levels of scratches. Maybe they are being wise and trying out all their orgs players and pairing before the season ends.

Regardless short term it does make BMac's move look even better.

I'd keep Bowey on the radar, maybe bring him back at some point if he becomes a waiver wire guy (and, more importantly, if the Caps end up considering moving Niskanen). I really thought he started to look better with the Caps this year, definitely capable of becoming at least a good bottom-pair d-man. And seems like a good guy, well-liked, etc. I think given more time, Reirden would make an NHL defender out of this guy.

If Caps win the division I think they'll get the Isles or Jackets in the first round.

Isles seem to be in a free fall and they play the Jackets tonight.

Carl Grundstrom has 2 goals in 2 games for LA - looks like he could be a solid bottom/middle 6 guy for them (small sample size, I know, but he's lit up the AHL).

Leafs took him with the 2nd we gave them to ditch Laich's contract. Not saying I want a do-over of that deal (especially because cup), but I really wanted him on the Caps - if he turns into a player I'm going to always be bothered by that on some level
