I'd guess maybe Emerson and Murray since they are Blake's best friends. I dont mind. It's good to have guys connected with the team wanting to make an impact still. Robitaille, Evan's, Fox, O'Donnell, Stoll, Greene, Modry and Armstrong are the obvious ones still around in addition to the occasional guys like McSorely, Anson Carter, Kyle Calder, Steve Heinze who are all still around the organization too.

well personally i'm talking more in general, not really related to the kings org specifically but there are a lot of "bros" in the org

recent history i just didn't like all the BS surrounding austin rivers when doc traded for him, seemed like it was always a bit awkward

Okay yeah. I thought I missed more recent ones or something. Hockey is an old boys club and this is a pretty standard practice for better or for worse. At least they're peppered with major outside hires like Stothers, Futa, O'Connell, etc.

You mean he attempts a wrap around and the goalie freezes it. RIGHT

The worst thing that happened to Frolov was scoring on that wrap around in Frozen Fury. I remember yelling at Blake because he was on the ice with Foote about how a rookie schooled them. Little did I know that the positive reinforcement tied to that goal would lead to him trying it over and over. And over. And over.

hope its not vilardi's back again.. maybe i'm out of line but the rate at which he keeps getting injured is a little unnerving

Hopefully its just precautionary and nothing serious

Given that he’ll be competing for a roster spot in camp, here’s hoping it is for precautionary reasons. I recall that idiot Teubert injuring Boston’s Jordan Caron in one of these camps. Better to avoid a similar situation from happening.

"nothing serious"

just because it's minor doesn't discount it from being recurring, especially when it comes to back injuries.. ugh. get this mans to yoga and get him a foam roller asap

Again, this is why he dropped in the draft moreso than skating concerns.
Man, I hope this isn't true.

I imagine GMs and their staff, amongst themselves, discussing the player and stopping at recurring injury concerns, now. Rather than the "poor skating" narrative we were spoon fed as reason for his fall.

No bueno.

Gabe Vilardi is the guy who fell in the draft because he had injury concerns (with a dash of skating concerns) and...

a) plays a relatively healthy, injury-free, 8 productive years with LAK. As we have seen numerous times before.

or

b) is broken all the time, and we only get glimpses of his prowess. As we have seen numerous times before.

... or

c) somewhere in the middle (boring)

A poor man's Pushkarev

This trade was my first feeling of major disappointment with the organization.

Three years later, they righted that wrong when Dave Taylor took over and reacquired Luc.

And just wait until Vilardi is getting trucked playing against grown men in the NHL.

Not good news at all, even if it’s “minor.”

I was saying this months ago and caught a ton of flak for it around here. Kid can’t stay healthy.
cause it wasn't really valid a few months ago when it was a significant one time injury, especially given that when he healed he was one of the best players in the OHL? especially when his only other injury was from getting a knee-on-knee hit and he missed games from f***in appendicitis?

oh man his appendix burst what a fragile twink
