I actually did enjoy Luke Schenn's time here in LA and wouldn't mind him back on a 1 year/1M kinda deal.

You must have missed all of his playoff performances with the Kings where he showed everyone the art of screening your own goalie.

Can we stop this LHD/RHD narrative that has been pervasive the last few days. We all know that Martinez and Dion are fine on the right side. Doughty makes three, we are fine on the right side, even absent Folin et al

Luke Schenn is extraneous and a horrible add. Even at 1M.

Too much emphasis has been placed on d positioning, lately, imo. We have several D that are LH playing on the right. It may not be pretty for some of you, but it isn’t what’s holding us up.

And don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to have our d slots filled positionally in a pretty little bow, but it isn’t how it works, always. Not with the way we’re pushing the cap, at least. “Gotta get in where we fit in,” if ya feel me. We’ve had succcess filling D in on offwing

I don't want him back, but Schenn was good in a depth role. The problem came when--like Folin--injuries forced him to play as the f***ing #3, a role which he is not at all suited for.

Lol Schenn. I would bet the bank that the Kings don't sign him. He is completely unnecessary on this team. He is slow as hell, and can't make good break out passes. Just rewatch the Kings/Sharks series from two years ago and you will see why its a horrible idea to get this guy. Easy pass. I would rather have Fantenburg get more ice time then Schenn coming in.

This has always been the case ultimately. The team needs to rolling together, or else it just doesn't work.

If Carter stays healthy and Toffoli +Pearson finally take the next step forward, we'll be in good shape. It's on them to figure their shit out.

IMO, still too many NHLers. At least one of these guys should be a trade-able asset for a forward. Martinez especially sticks out to me, his defensive game has gone down hill in recent years, but he still holds league value. You could get a solid middle-six forward for him IMO.

I’m over Pearson (Toffoli gets a little more tolerance from me because I feel he has a much higher ceiling), I was hoping he would get packaged this offseason for a better player.
