If it's the only way to get him in the lineup, it's better than Smith in LF and Pearce on the bench.

He's still running a wRC+ of around 150 since May 1. It would be nice to move Morales and plug Pearce in at DH, but until they're able to do that the best lineup that can put out there is one with Pearce in LF.

Honestly, if the decision ever came to sit Pearce you sit Morales instead and let Pearce DH.

Thats what i love about baseball. Never over until its over. In every other sport game is over down that much in last minute of play. Big swing of emotion of blowing a save the night before to a walkoff the next night

Wtf. 7 in the 9th. Fun for the few fans that stuck it out

I'm quite happy to have stuck around for the 9th, figured might as well stay for the game regardless of what happens. It was a pretty good call it seems. I've seen the last 3 jays wins in person and they have all been walk offs.

Too bad this team cant string wins together. One day they are the jays of old. The next they look like a triple a team. Very frustrating.

Unfortunately we were not one of those. We left mid 4th as my son wasn't feeling well. It was very hot there today (even sitting under the dome sections in the shade)

I've got little ones I know the drill. My oldest sons first game was the longest in Jays history. We left in the 7th

Sure is frustrating. I tuned out yesterday's game early, too early it seems! :help:

Hopefully Marco has cleared trade waivers earlier in the season. After he throws 5 no hitters between no and August 31st, there'll probably be some more interest :sarcasm:

I don't blame him, there was really no reaction from the crowd as to what happened to the ball, and it seems at first the the Sox teammate was signalling he caught it, before it was obvious that it was an injury. Even the best get the calls wrong sometimes. :)

The ball was no where close to the CF

That was one of the biggest comebacks I've seen while actually at a game. Pearce is a God. I'm loving this week of walk off homers. :yo:

Was at the games on Friday and Saturday. Could not be more bitter about the games I decided to attend.

Moncada has had a terrible start to his career. I know a lot of scouting is tools, but his minor league numbers especially the strikeouts haven't impressed me like you hope from a #1 prospect. He's continuing to K a 3rd of the time in the majors. SSS obviously, but he's never been my #1 prospect

Whoa, that looked like a catch and they're both hurt. Moncada too. Hopefully he hasn't screwed up his knee
