If it's the only way to get him in the lineup, it's better than Smith in LF and Pearce on the bench.
He's still running a wRC+ of around 150 since May 1. It would be nice to move Morales and plug Pearce in at DH, but until they're able to do that the best lineup that can put out there is one with Pearce in LF.
Wtf. 7 in the 9th. Fun for the few fans that stuck it out

Unfortunately we were not one of those. We left mid 4th as my son wasn't feeling well. It was very hot there today (even sitting under the dome sections in the shade)
I've got little ones I know the drill. My oldest sons first game was the longest in Jays history. We left in the 7th
Too bad this team cant string wins together. One day they are the jays of old. The next they look like a triple a team. Very frustrating.

I don't blame him, there was really no reaction from the crowd as to what happened to the ball, and it seems at first the the Sox teammate was signalling he caught it, before it was obvious that it was an injury. Even the best get the calls wrong sometimes.
That was one of the biggest comebacks I've seen while actually at a game. Pearce is a God. I'm loving this week of walk off homers.
