The worst thing about that long single from Tulo was the effort level.

In the 11th, Pearce hit a ball off the monster and put his head down and charged out of the batter's box to stretch it to a double. And it led to a manufactured run on a sac fly a couple batters later. Tulo just jogged down to first and not surprisingly couldn't make it.

The guy is normally Mr. Fundamentals but that was awful. And possibly cost them the game.

No matter who it is, I always hate when they jog to first

In case you haven't been keeping up with current events...This team has been terrible in pretty much every important category. The bullpen is pretty much the only thing that has gone right this year. EE wouldn't make much difference.

Last night Zaun pointed out that with the score 3-1 and two runners on they should not have let Dustin Pedroia beat them. So tonight with 2 out and runners on 2nd and 3rd they pitch to Pedroia and he drives in both runners. What a clutch player.
