I agree that this tourney is the highlight of my hockey watching year. I just started watching about 4 years ago or so and can't wait to attend my first games in person next year in Buffalo.

Here's a few kids I can't wait to see play this year:
USA
1) Parsons - the kid was lights out vs. CAN in Plymouth this summer.
2) Jordan Greenway - this kid was destroying folks in Plymouth. He's the perfect type of player to pump up the team and get everyone going. Great effort and HUGE!
3) Logan Brown - love the kid's size and ability. Tons of talent - hoping it comes together for the tourney
4) Tage Thompson - another kid who was super impressive in Plymouth.

Finland
I don't know why but I always have a soft spot for Suomi. I think it's the names. They always have the best darn names... period.
1) Eeli Tolvanen - he was pretty good against Sweden in Plymouth. I think he will shine in this tourney.
2) Vehni Vehvillainen - all name team right here and a super goalie
3) Saarijarvi and Valimaki - I think they were real solid D and I'll be watching for more of the same.
4) Kristian Vasilainen - perhaps my favorite Fin - like Greenway and Thompson, I like this kid's physical ability and hope he has a great tourney

Sweden
1) I enjoyed Lias Anderson's game in MI. Will he make the Swedish team?
2) Jens Looke - he kind of flashes on film
3) Anyone named Carlson... :-) there's always wonderful Swedish players with the name. I'm sure one or two will make this team and play well. I was impressed with Gabriel in MI.

Who are you all looking to see play and why?

Any guesses for lines?

Motzko has been trying out these:

Bellows-Keller-Anderson
White-Thompson-DeBrincat
Harper-Roslovic-Laczynski
Foley-Brown-Bracco
Greenway-Kunin-Terry

Ahcan-McAvoy
Lindgren-Fox
Krys-Cecconi
Jones-Fitzgerald

I'd love to see a Greenway-Brown-Thompson line. Huge, physical, and a lot of skill. No one would want to go up against them.

Those are unusual.....all the way around.

Bellows-Keller-Thompson
Greenway-Roslovic-White
DeBrincat-Brown-Kunin
Harper-XXX-Bracco

I think Thompson, Kunin and White could transition to W. Bring the best players.

Bellows - Keller - Anderson was not unusual. That was the NTDP first line all last year.

Even with all those guys missing, depth is insane for you guys this year. Especially when players like Mittlestadt don't get invites.

Shame Yan didn't get an invite. 69 in 62 last year (32g) and 39 in 29 this year (22g) with a pretty solid two-way game I thought would get more consideration. Really, this is his third very good, if not great year with Shawinigan. It'll be fun to see him in Tampas camp again.
