WJC: 2017 Team USA Roster Talk

Honestly, with the depth of forwards USA has this year, they can absorb the loss. Defense is where they are thin.

Eh Boeser was slotted in to play a very key role on this team, that is going to hurt the team.

This is a big loss but Boeser had a pretty poor tournament last year.

I'm not sure how well his game fits the type of play that occurs in this tournament. I have no doubt he would have taken a step forward this year but it might not be as big of a loss as it appears.

Isn't McAvoy supposed to be special ?. I read he has Doughty/Keith/Suter or even better talent. As a Bruin fan i did not pay much attention when they drafted him. But recently i am reading up on the kid and some are saying his ceiling is that high ? Wondering what others think ?

Could be a good team, defense is a little thin but I think they could be quite strong offensively. Really like what they have in net as well.

He's likely the favorite yes.
