And what do you mean with "[MOD] ideas"? We have only play with physicality in 3 games under Grönborg (the russia game in hovet, and 2 pre-world cup games against finland) outside of that its the same old non-physical team sweden.

Why? Nylander was on our "3rd line" all season long. But, as the poster stated above though, most teams don't ice your typical 3rd lines anymore, more about spreading offense throughout the lineup.

I do hope to see Nylander in the gold medal game though, as a Leafs fan.

Nylander has insane skills and definitely needs to be on Sweden's PP.

From where comes this 3rd line talk? Anyway, Nylander is likely to get offensive zone starts, and PP duty, so it will depend on how the games turns out I bet, if he is going to be used a lot or a little less.

I can see him being 2nd line or even third line, given that you don't want to burden him with to much ice-time and still have him on 1st PP

Its not given that the lines is really 1 2 3 and 4. It could be that you got three scoring lines that will get about equal 5v5 time. Like a 1a b and c plus a checking line. If Nylanders line plays like gods they will become the line with most minutes in the later stages of the game, specially if you need a goal. If the Swedes need to defend maybe Joel will get (too much) time.

You could also juggle the lines, and put different players togheter if something doesnt work.

Sweden needs to stop playing [MOD] hockey and actually give minute to the skilled players. Gronborg isnt good at coaching though. He never change his forward lines
