WC: 2017 Team Sweden

4-8 and 20-31 in shoots do not look good on paper, even if it looked better when i watched the game, the game was even and could have gone either way. Läck didnt really impressed against russia either and now 7 goals against.

Klingberg is in own league, and I would say that d-pair with Klingberg and OEL over this 2 games, have easily been our best d-pair, shows that similar players can work just fine togehter.

Hedman was much better in this game then against russia, but i still do not think him and strålman works very good togehter. Just because players play in the same team-club do not mean they shall play togeheter in the national team.

Lundqvist is looking good, he looks pretty fast.

Nordström is nothing special, no idea why he is a lock for the WC, he is not better than Lundqvist/Everberg/M.Kempe/C.Klingberg.

I think it's a bit drastic to draw these conclusions already, especially from three games where the motivation factor isn't going to be great. Especially not for the guys who are already guaranteed a spot. The fact that guys like Everberg, Kempe and C. Klingberg aren't locks probably also plays into them being the hardest working players on the team.

It was only a season ago when Nordstrom was averaging 15.37 minutes/game, often playing with Jordan Staal and producing at nearly a 30 point pace. You have to do something right for an NHL team to use you like that.

Positive with the game aginst finland is that Hedman is becoming better and better. Was pretty dominant.

Kempe looks good.

Really looking forward to watch Nylander play! This will propably be the most exciting whc in years according to me. World cup sucked, no nhl players at the olympics etc. Great to see so many players accepting invites for this tournament.

System should be same as always, you're allowed to register 25 players in total. Only need to register 17 for the first game. I see us registering 2G 6D 12F for the first game, leaving five spots open(but one for goalie only).

I like what I have seen from William Karlsson.
I could see him center Nylander and Landeskog. Move Söderberg to 3rd line. And keep Omark-Rask-Lindholm intact.

Yeah that would be good but switch out Fasth for Söderström. Or ideally Läck he's way worse but you can't call a guy home and then **** him over like that
