WC: 2017 Team Sweden

Yep, the federation page first said he had declined but was later updated to say he had accepted. Must have been some internal miscommunication. The federation page now also lists Melker Karlsson under "injured/not invited". Since he played all of the playoff games, can we assume he was not invited? To be honest, I think that is ok, we don't need more 3-4 liners, we need top-6 players now.

Adding Nylander should be a sure thing I would guess. Nothing I can see that would indicate injury problems. Wennberg would help to make the forward-group look even deeper. This team looks pretty interesting. It has the best D of the tournament. On top of that, they will have time to get used to each other, as I read most of them are going to play the pre-tournament games. The forward group is pretty solid I would say. Adding Nylander and Wennberg would be huge in my opinion. Nylander is playing like a star and Wennberg almost too.

If I find it somewhere, I will watch your games at...Carlson hockey games? That D is just sick, and the whole team is almost complete it seems.

The D is really good (decent goalies too even if not elite) and we got the bottom 6 alright. But the top 6 is weak and it really matters a lot.

I don't think Wennberg will show, good chance on Nylander coming.
If Wennberg comes I want top 6 like this:

Landeskog - Wennberg - Nylander
Omark - Rask - Lindholm

I think It's good to spread out the two big bodies Landeskog and Rask.
These are also good potential PP lines, with (probably) 4 D playing on the PP (Hedman, Strålman, Klingber, OEL).
 
For Kempe(still in playoffs too) and Alex Nylander I don't think it has to do with lack of skill to play as much as it has to do with playing in the AHL. You pick from the top first.
 
Nylander and Wennberg would be game changing additions also Lindholm had a really strong second half of the season where he actually looked like a legit first liner. But I do still think he is ideally a complimentary threat so we need someone to really drive the top lines which Nylander is perfect for he is a borderline elite forward so he drives one line and two of Landeskog/Wennberg/Lindholm split the responsibilities on the second line maybe all three of them and put Nylander with Rask and Omark/JEE.

Really hoping they both come otherwise we'll have to outgrit everyone.
