WC: 2017 Team Sweden

Pretty excited to see that D in action. The game with the US will be interesting for sure.

Not exactly a WC team. Must be two forwards and two defensemen more from either NHL, AHL or "Europe". My guess is that Greenberg saves a couple of spots for Lundqvist or Erik Karlsson and Bäckström. If round 2 starts next weekend and medical clearance can be done on May 14th... quarterfinals start on the 18th.

Come on! You just mistook Alexander for William! Joel and Carl are better and heavier and have made great progress this season.

So basically kept the best scorers(Omark and Gynge) and the guys that can play on the 4th line in Klingberg, Kempe, Lindholm and Everberg. Makes sense.
 
Imagine!!

We MIGHT have Hedman-Strålman or Ekman-Larsson-Klingberg on the ice almost ALL OF THE TIME!!

And...further imagine how MUCH average players like Lindholm, Rask, Lando Woodo, Söderberg, Nordström, Karlsson, Krüger, Klingberg, Omark, Lundqvist, Nylander and Lindblom might BENEFIT from that!! Plus...backchecking won't be a problem.

Unbelievable...
 
Who will be 7 # and 8 # d-man? the first 6 d-mans will be nhlers. but i dont think 7 # and 8 # will be nhlers. neither tömmernäs or martisson is wc-level. Rosén - Holm is ok. What about Borgman, Bertilsson or Kilström?

Alex comes from a bad first pro season in the AHL the only thing he would wreck with this tournament is his self esteem. He has a lot of work to do this summer if he wants to be the diffrencemaker his talent level should allow him to be.

Rochester was a mess this season. Alex still outplayed eriksson ek at wjc. His talent is undeniable
 
Please, stop talking about Alexander Nylander. We know that you want him on the team, we get it. He is a good player already and will turn into a very good player, but he is not yet good enough for a big tournament like this.

We saw at world cup that youth beats swedens best team.

A young player is always better than a tired veteran. Vm is the perfect tournament to play young talents.
